As described by the Editor of "Australian HiFi" in his review of the original Kantus "I found them to be very revealing and highly musical loudspeakers. Bass performance was fast and precise .... the midrange makes listening a sheer pleasure .... high frequencies are wonderful and airy....".

Since this review the Kantus have been further improved. The upgraded bass-mid drivers are now run in parallel to give extra efficiency, power and effortlessness. The tweeter has been replaced by a ceramic dome which is much stronger than fabric but better damped than metal. Further refinement has been produced by improved cabinet and internal damping plus even higher quality electronic components such as foil inductors, 640V Solen capacitors and high-power metal-oxide resistors.
